Brook's Sprout Mahogany - 1/2 Dozen

Magonany Dun dry fly proves its value on difficult streams.  Use it for the slate hatch in the spring in the eastern United States or out west in the fall on Harriman State Park in Idaho.  The bright white foam post makes even tiny flies easy to see and aids in flotation, suspending the meat of the fly just below the surface.
