The Clearwater 907-4 is a versatile 7-weight with the power to throw heavy streamers and nymph rigs for trout or big poppers for bass. With plenty of backbone to fight bigger fish, it’s an excellent choice when more strength is needed but a heavier big-game rod would be overkill. Its medium-fast action is equally at home on the flats for smaller bonefish or targeting schoolie stripers and bluefish.
The Clearwater® Rod Series has stood the test of time, claiming its rightful position as the best fly rod you can buy for the money. Our rod designers drew on more than half a century of graphite rod innovation to develop a comprehensive series that covers nearly every angler and pursuit, from small stream addicts to Skagit-slinging two-handers. These rods outperform the price tag, punch above their weight, and look great. Each model showcases a purpose-built profile and action, from medium-action small stream rods to medium-fast freshwater rods and fast-action big game rods.
